Patrick G. Hill

Patrick G. Hill, 64, of Roscoe, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born April 21, 1957 in Rockford to John Hill and Shirley (Conoway) Vanman. Patrick had a passion for fishing and carpentry. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his friends and family. 

Survivors include his wife, Gail Hill; son, Jonas Schaffer; daughter, Erin Hill; grandchildren, Julianna, Sarina, Austin, Jacob, Jazlyn, Ariana, Jeremie, Katarina, Tatiana and Shayla; mother, Shirley Vanman; brothers, Michael (Karen) Hill and Tim (Brenda) Hill; sister, Kathy Chavez; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son, John Hill; daughter, Angela Schaffer; father, John Hill and brother, David Hill.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kieselburg Park, 5801 Swanson Rd., Roscoe, IL 61073.
