Patrick J. Gallagher

Patrick J. Gallagher, 84, of Machesney Park, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on March 11, 1936 in La Valle, Wisconsin to Thomas J. and Marie (Freihube) Gallagher. Patrick was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Janice Lines in Rockford in 1983. All of his life he was a truck driver. 

Survivors include his wife, Janice Gallagher; daughter, Patty Anderson; step-children, Jimmie Gray, John (Jodie) Gray, Jeffery (Jane) Gray and Janelle Baker; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents and 6 siblings. 

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 in Atwood Forest Preserve, 8990 Old River Road, Rockford, 61103, with military honors being held at 3:00 p.m.
