Patricia Lee Taylor

Pat Taylor, 78, of Machesney Park, IL died peacefully in her home on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Pat was born April 28, 1943, to Kenneth and Delpha Veach. 

Pat cherished the summers spent on the Mississippi River with her daughters on her aunt and uncle’s houseboat. She also enjoyed reading books and making ceramics. Later in life she loved to be outside with her friends and family. She put everyone else’s needs first and helped everyone she could.

Pat is loved and will be missed by her daughters, Teri (Curt) Rohs, Tonia (Mike) Gresty; her grandchildren, Christopher (Angel) Rohs, Michelle (Dan) Follis, Collin Rohs, Mikey (Tina) Gresty, Courtney Rohs, Colton Rohs, Matt (Julie) Gresty; and her great-grandchildren, Arianna, Wyatt, Lyla, Poppy, Emma and Michael II.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tracy Taylor; Aunt Mary; and Uncle Coy Bollman. 

Funeral service will be at 5:30pm with a visitation from 4:00 until the service on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 North Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.  Pastor Anthony Maynard will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name to the Dementia Society of America at dementiasociety.org/donate
