Oscar Lee Hauser, 87, of South Beloit, IL passed away January 29, 2023. Born July 10, 1935 in New Florence, MO, the son of Earl and Helen (Campbell) Hauser. He graduated from Hermann High School in 1953, served in the US Navy from 1957-1961 as an aviation electronics technician. In June of 1961, he began working for Sundstrand as Production Planner and Master Scheduler and became supervisor and section manager of those same areas. He attended Rockford College and earned a business degree in 1984. He retired from Sundstrand in February of 1993, however went back to work on contract with Sundstrand in November of 1993 until finally retiring in March of 2012.
In 1969 he married the love of his life Carol (Dorn) Hauser and together they enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending time with family and friends.Oscar’s hobbies included bowling, golfing, shooting pool, trivia, crossword puzzles and growing roses. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.
Survivors include siblings, Joe Hauser, Joyce (Ronnie) Kamper, Gayle (Willie) Horn, Carl Hauser, Linda (Brian) Michael, and Debbie (Dave) Robison; wife, Carol (Dorn) Hauser; daughters, Elaine (Greg) Treu, Brenda (Mike) Nayonis; 5 - grandchildren, Marissa (Scott) Johnson, Brent (Danni) Treu, Alex (Liz) Treu, Seth (Carylanne) Nayonis, and Ashlyn Nayonis; 5 - great grandchildren Olivia, Brady, Charlee, Bentley and Remington. Multiple nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Marion Hauser; parents, Earl and Helen.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Roscoe United Methodist Church, 10816 Main Street, Roscoe with memorial visitation from 12:00 PM until time of service.
