Olive V. Bresette

Olive V. Bresette, 89, of Loves Park, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was born on April 27, 1931 in Mystic, Iowa to Clyde and Olive (Milburn) Kirchner. Olive was a long time employee of Sundstrand Corporation and was a member of the Senior Swim Club at the Millennium Center. She had a passion for crafts and enjoyed giving them as gifts for holidays and birthdays, especially Christmas and Easter. Olive also enjoyed reading and loving her many pets throughout the years. 

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Ware and Susan Gillespie; granddaughter, Monica (Richard) Johnson; step-grandchildren, Emily and Brett Ware; step-brother, Ralph Kirchner and sister-in-law, Shirley Kirchner. Predeceased by parents; brother, Don Kirchner; step-brother, Tom Kirchner; step-sister, Connie Hammond; beloved dog, Corky. 

A private family service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Chapel, Loves Park, IL 61111 with Richard Johnson officiating. A walk through visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
