Novalee Grace Zollar

Novalee Grace Zollar, 1, of Rockford, IL, peacefully gained her angel wings early in the morning February 1, 2021 after battling Tay-Sachs disease. She was surrounded with love by her family. Our loving daughter was born March 22, 2019. A beautiful dark curly haired baby girl with blue/green eyes that melted your heart. She loved to swim and giggle with her big brother Izaiah. She loved to look at the stars and moon. She was our little love; understanding, patient, brave, beautiful and strong. She absolutely loved to cuddle and be side by side with her parents and her brother. She also liked to cuddle her kitty Cupcake who acted like her very own guard kitty.

She is survived by her parents, Kyle and Mindi Zollar; brother, Izaiah; grandparents, Stacey McAfee, Sharon (Kevin) Porter, Patrick Arellano; great-grandpa; Richard McAfee and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Those who have passed on before Nova are Nikko Zollar, Alan Zollar and Carolyn Porter. Thank you to all who have supported and helped us in any way possible to help give our little girl everything we could! A special thank you to Becky Flores and Terri Hendrickson for walking by our side throughout this journey.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 in Church By the Side of the Road, 500 South Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL 61072 with a visitation from 2:30 p.m. until time of service.  Masks and social distancing observed.
