Ninfa Perez Guajardo, 83, peacefully passed away, surrounded by family on August 31, 2023, in Rockford, IL. Born in Mexico, on August 2, 1940, Ninfa was a very giving person and always put everyone before herself. She loved unconditionally and always showed up to support her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching, and most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Graciela (Perfecto) Quinonez; son, Miguel Perez, Sr.; daughter, Marie E. (Anthony) Martin; grandchildren, Steven (Anna) Parson, Maica (Justin) Casey, Alex Perez, Riannon (Christopher) Roach, Brandy (Johnny Chandler) Quinonez, Briana (Patrick) Ditsch, Miguel Jr. (Breanna) Perez, and Jordan (Emery Alt) Martin; sister, Juana Ramos, sister, Raquel Reyes, sister, Rosa Guajardo, sister, Leticia Guajardo, sister, Mari Guajardo; brother, Fabian Guajardo; ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, MardoĊio D. Perez; parents, Simon and Elivera Guajardo; six sisters, Enestecia, Lupe, Enedelia, Josefina, Ofelia, and Marina.
The family is planning a private memorial service.
