Nancy Cadengo (Nana) of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on October 25, 2025. Born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, on May 14, 1962. She was the daughter of Jacinto Cadengo and Lilia Ruiz. She attended West High School upon arriving in the United States.

Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed watching nature documentaries, bird watching from her window, and spending peaceful moments taking in the beauty around her. When she felt like stepping out, she cherished binge shopping trips with her daughters and sharing laughter and excitement at the casino. She will be dearly missed by so many.
