Nancy L. Bissman

Nancy L. Bissman, 88, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026. She was born on September 19, 1937, the daughter of Otto and Ruth (Paakkanen) Peucker.

Nancy is survived by her loving daughters, Debra Bissman, Tammy (John) Murabito, and Kimberly (Craig Misslich) Jackson; her cherished granddaughters, Heidi (Greg) Batty, Emily (Santino) Coviello, Rebecca (John) Pirtle, and Florence (Brian) Murabito-Crowe; and her seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mavis (Dana) Caldwell; sister-in-law, Judy Peucker; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael Bissman; her siblings, Patricia Gucciardo, Charlotte Pottratz, Margaret Ippolito, Betty Murphy, Otto Peucker, and Robert Peucker; and her former husband, Ray Bissman. 

Nancy will be dearly missed.  There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be planned in the Spring.
