Merianne Larrabee

Merianne Larrabee, 66, of Rockford, IL returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday March 22, 2023.  Born May 31, 1956 in Rockford, IL to Earl and Elsie (Baxter) Herbig. She graduated from Jefferson High School, Rockford, IL in 1974. She married the love of her life, Robert James Larrabee on July 15, 1975.  Merianne lived a fulfilling life as wife, mother, nana, sister and aunt. She loved her family and God with all her heart. Merianne was very unselfish, always putting others before herself.

Merianne is survived by her husband, Bob Larrabee; daughters, Christy Larrabee (Aron Hackler) and Amanda Larrabee; her precious grandchildren, Kylah, Kaden, Logan; great-grandson, Zayvien; brother, Donn (Terry) Herbig; sisters, Candy (Doyle) Redmon, Wendy Meyer, Donald (Nancy Larrabee), Cory Larrabee; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved so much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl (Elsie) Herbig; daughter, Michelle Larrabee; sister, Vickie Cardenas; brother, Edward Herbig; father and mother-in-law, Albert (Helen) Larrabee; brothers-in-law, Dale Larrabee, Richard Meyer and Juivenal Cardenas; and niece, Rebecca Redmon. 

Funeral Service will be at 6:00pm with a Visitation from 4:00pm until the service on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
