Mary L. Engelhart

Mary L. Engelhart, 75, of Belvidere passed away September 14, 2023. She was the daughter of Matthew and Elizabeth (Kostecka) Huisel. Mary married Robert Engelhart in Chicago, IL. She worked for Glober MFG, True Value MFG, and several years at OSF prior to her final retirement. She enjoyed going to work and dinners with her OSF girls. She liked garage sales, scratch-off tickets, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mary was very proud of her family and always made them feel so loved.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; children, Sean (Liz) Engelhart, David (Angela) Engelhart, and Jodi Boardman; grandchildren, Dylan, Chase, Casey, Damien, Lexi, Hunter, David Jr., Madison, Cody, Tori, and Robert; sisters, Silvia and Judy; brother, Clarence. She was predeceased by her son, Robert "Bobby" Engelhart; parents, Matthew and Elizabeth Huisel; sisters, Glendora and Margie; brothers, Butch, Wally and Eddie. 

Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM September 23, 2023, in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park with a memorial visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
