Mary C. Andrew

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Mary Andrew—an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Mary was born on January 24, 1954, to Maurice and Lucille Figeley. She married the love of her life, Kim Andrew, Sr., and together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Mary was a long-time employee of Barber Colman, retiring in 2013.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her grandchildren and family, caring for her beloved puppy Winnie, gardening, fishing, bird watching, and enjoying the company of friends. She had a special love for games of all kinds, and played each one with passion—and a drive to win!

Mary is survived by her husband, Kim; daughter, Andrea; granddaughters, Abigail and Allison Andrew; brother, Henry Figeley; her cherished puppy, Winnie; dear friends, Sue and Jeff Wearsch; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kim Andrew, Jr.; her sister, Dianne Watson; and her brothers, Maurice, Vaughn, and Richard Figeley.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Grace Lutheran Church, 343 Grand Avenue, Loves Park, IL 61111. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM.  Following the service, the family invites everyone to a luncheon at the church to share memories and celebrate Mary’s life.
