Marva Lee Lodico, 80, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. Born in Savanna, IL on November 8, 1943, to her parents, Marvin and Ellen (Lamoreux) Hartman.
Marva graduated from Lanark High School and went on to study Elementary Education at Western Illinois University. Marva worked for Eaton Corporation from 1979–2006 as a master production scheduler, material planner, intercompany buyer and information systems engineer.
Marva really enjoyed going to her grandkids sporting events and any other activities they participated in. When she had free time, she loved spending time with her daughter and friends. She really looked forward to holidays with family. She also enjoyed reading and keeping up on current events.
Survived by her loving ex-husband and friend, Joe Lodico; brother, Rod (Kari) Hartman; children, Kurt (Rhonda) Lodico, Kent Lodico and Kris (Terry) Dunn; grandchildren, Chase (Dana Hakim) Lodico, Ariana (Zack Sondgeroth) Lodico, Trey (Abi Tilton) Lodico, Aubrielle (Caleb McBride) Lodico, Jack Lodico, Riley (Anna Criswell) Lodico, Bella Lodico, Rachel (Shawn) Edwards, and Ryan (Kate) Dunn; great-grandchildren, Jett, Eli, Dahlia, Raven, Kelsey (Carmen), Kyler, Jaykob, and Aubrey; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ellen Hartman; brother, Rick Hartman; daughter-in-law, Tricia Lodico.
A celebration of life will be held for Marva at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3829 11th St., Rockford, IL 61109, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
