Martin D. Cederholm

Martin D. Cederholm, 83, of Rockford passed away November 9, 2023. He was the son of Einar B. and Thyra (Karlson) Cederholm. He graduated from East High School in 1958 and served in the United States Army for 3 years, receiving the Good Conduct Medal. He married Judith Devries on September 14, 1963 in Open Bible Church in Rockford. Martin worked in the family business to learn about heating and air conditioning, eventually starting his own company, M-C Heating and Air Conditioning; he retired in 2018. He was an avid reader and devout Christian, and they enjoyed trips to Branson, Missouri, and numerous driving trips to Alaska.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Jeanne; sisters-in-law, Joan and Jean Cederholm; nephews, Roger and Dan Cederholm and nieces, Cheryl Davis, Ginny Baum, Katy Eubank, Faith Beaty, and Kris Hemmersbach. Predeceased by his parents and brothers, Einar L. and Gilbert H. Cederholm.

Memorial visitation will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073.
