Mark Lane Rodseth passed away at Beloit Memorial Hospital on January 6th, 2023, at the age of 65. Mark was born in Chicago, IL on July 2, 1957, to Richard Rodseth (departed) and Anetia Kowalski (departed). In his early years, Mark played all sorts of sports but would ultimately master ice hockey, winning the Chicago Suburbs High School Championship in 1974 for Elk Grove High School. Mark lived and worked in Chicago's northwest suburbs throughout the 80s and 90s, managing a chemical processing and packaging plant before transitioning to a career in business consulting. In the early 00s he moved to the Stateline area, and married his soulmate Gail Daer. He enjoyed playing golf, reading nonfiction, learning American and world history, traveling, and watching his favorite teams (Blackhawks, White Sox, and Bears). He absolutely excelled at being a husband, father, grandfather, and loved making memories with his family.
