Margarethe H Vojtech

Margarethe H. Vojtech, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 1, 2020 in New Milford, IL. She was born in Tauber, Germany (formerly Leipa District, Czechoslovakia) on August, 13, 1938 to Josef and Margarete (nee Domes) Spiegler. She married Vlastimil Vojtech in Heilbronn, Germany on June 30, 1956 and came to America in June of 1959. She became an American citizen in 1972, which she was very proud of. Margarethe was a faithful military wife for the twenty years that her husband was stationed in the U.S. Army. Margarethe was a wonderful mom and homemaker that always put her children first. She loved the sunshine, flowers, music and her beloved dog, Benji. She will be sadly missed by all.

Margarethe was preceded in death by her parents; sister; two brothers; her husband; and her eldest son, William (Debbie) Vojtech.

Margarethe is survived by three brothers; her children, Sonnya (Mark) Apodaca, Larry (Michelle) Vojtech and Cindy (Mike) Keller; daughter-in-law, Debbie Vojtech; grandchildren, Shelby (Jesse) Yee, Peyton Keller, Michelle, Alexander and Xavier Apodaca, Meghan Keller and Shelby (Neil) Schlomer; eight great-grandchildren and another expected in August. 

A family gathering to celebrate Margarethe’s life will be determined soon.
