Lucy Chamberlain Obituary

Lucy B. Chamberlain, 82, of Rockford, IL, passed away after a short illness. Born in Oneonta, Alabama, on May 25, 1943, to Walsh and Mary Shelton. She graduated from High School in 1961. Lucy married Thomas Chamberlain on January 31, 1987, and they spent 38 beautiful years together. She was self-employed as a dedicated insurance agent. Lucy enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

A special thanks to all the physicians and nurses at Swedish American Hospital, PA Peterson, and Unity Hospice for their devoted care to Lucy.

Survived by her husband, Thomas Chamberlain; children, Susan and Scott Hyde. Predeceased by her parents, Jiles and Mary Shelton; daughter, Rhonda; and ten siblings.
