Loren R. Brown

Loren R. Brown, 62, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Born September 17, 1957 in Rockford, the son of Robert R. and Mary (Roberts) Brown. Married Cheryl L. Stichter on September 20, 1975 in Rockford. Loren enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

Survivors include wife, Cheryl Brown; children, Holly (Ryan) Buss, Jill (Jason) Block; grandchildren, Jada Block, Dylan Hopper, Kyle Block, Tavor Buss, Kale Buss; great grandson, Carson Dutenhafer; brothers, Douglas (Marge) Brown, Gordon Brown; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mark LaRossa and Roger Schramm. Predeceased by parents.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2020 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe. Private family memorial service was held. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park.
