Linda Rockwell Obituary

Linda Rockwell, 67, of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. She was born on August 23, 1953 in Niles, Michigan to Elsworth and Doris (Fern) Weaver. She married Mark Rockwell on July 18, 1981 in Rockford, Illinois. Linda worked in child care for 26 years at WeeCare. She had a passion for collecting frogs and enjoyed road trips. Linda will be remembered for her love of the Lord and her family.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Rockwell; sister, Nancy (Roger) Jensen; nieces, Michelle (Jim) Koerber, Kristen (Hector) Holguin and Nicole (Aaron) Norris; aunt, Shirley (Dick) Russell; mother and father-in-law, Pat and Jerry Schultz and several cousins. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Ron Weaver.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Stonebridge Church, 7281 Olde Creek Rd., Rockford, IL 61114 with a luncheon to follow.
