Linda Nordheim Obituary

Linda "Bunny" Lee Nordheim passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her home March 7, 2023, at the age of 76. Linda was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 21,1946. She graduated from Reading High School and went on to attend Rock Valley College. Linda married her loving husband of 56 years in Columbus, OH 4/16/1967. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS. She worked as a professional clown for 35+ years. She also worked at Thrifty Nickel, drove Septran and worked in the genealogy library. Linda enjoyed her family, friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed many things such as gardening, arts and crafts, wood carving, basket weaving, sewing, clowning, storytelling, writing, singing, pottery and many more things. She was a member of the Blackhawk Carving Club, Red Cross, Clown Camp, led Girl Scouts for 25 years and sang with the Sweet Adelines. 

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Daniel A Nordheim, Sr.; her children, Dawn Lynn Goo, Daniel A. (Jenifer) Nordheim, Jr., David G. (Michelle) Nordheim, Dathan A. (Sara) Nordheim and Dorian C. Nordheim; grandchildren, Brandon A. Veneman, Danielle M. (Jerrad) Williams, Briana L. (Levi O’Connor) Nordheim, Ashleigh Goo, David G. (Alana) Nordheim,  Ashley Useini, Alexis N. (Tanner) Digiovanni, Zachary B. (Bethany) Nordheim, Abigail G. Nordheim, Landon Caleb Nordheim, Chase Issac Nordheim and Mason Andrew Nordheim; great-grandchildren, Mya Marie Williams, Melia May Williams and Joey Gianna Digiovanni; and sister, Rebecca S. (John) Blain. Linda is predeceased by her father, Arthur W. Hebert; mother, Gladys I. Huden; sister, Deloris Jean Roberts; and brother, Jerol (Jerry) Wayne.  

Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, March 10, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, 620 N. Alpine Rd., Rockford, IL 61107. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, Bunny has requested for trees to be planted.
