Linda J. Engstrom

Linda Engstrom, 69, of Rockford passed away on July 30, 2025. Linda was born on March 1, 1956 in Rockford to the late LaVerne and Mary Dickson. She graduated from Harlem High School, class of 1974. Linda continued her education at the Rockford School of Practical Nursing, earning her nursing degree in 1978. She spent her career helping others in the hospitals and private practices. 

She met Jeffrey Engstrom, and they were married on August 7, 1993. Together they raised champion Leonberger dogs. They were her pride and joy. 

Linda is survived by her siblings, Nancy D'Angelo, Barb (Terry Horstmann) Rosendahl, Jeff Dickson, Dawn (Robert) Haase; and Izzie, her four legged friend. Predeceased by her parents, husband, and brothers-in-law, Bill Goble, Mike D'Angelo and Gary Rosendahl. 

A big thank you to her caregivers at Swedish American Hospital, Alden Debes and Heartland Hospice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
