Lillian Passarella Obituary

Lillian Phyllis Passarella, 83, of Elgin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 with her daughter by her side after a short illness.  Born in Chicago, Illinois on October 29, 1935 to Samuel and Margaret (Gerace) Lucas; married Thomas Passarella who predeceased her in 2012.

Lillian was a lifelong Cubs fan and lover of all animals.  She was known for always having a glass of Pepsi in her hand.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Passarella; daughter, Denise (Greg) Horner; grandchildren, Christopher Horner and Alyssa (Charles) Ventura; two great-grandchildren, Ella Charlotte and Lyla Frances Ventura; brother Charles (Leslie) Lucas.  Predeceased by her parents; husband; and sister, Honor Paus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 410 N. 1st St., Cary, IL 60013.  Burial in St. Michael's of the Archangel Cemetery, 1185 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL 60067.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to ASPCA or St. Jude.
