Lauren Ashley Rose, 31, of Rockton, sadly passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Lauren grew up in the Rockton/Roscoe area and knew many people. She attended and graduated Hononegah High School in 2012. After high school she started working and became a skilled machinist. She enjoyed hiking, spending time outdoors enjoying nature, playing board games, card games with her three boys, friends and family. She was always up for a good laugh and liked live comedy or tv comedies, her favorites being Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Seinfeld and Schitts Creek. If it was a nice day out you might also find her out playing frisbee golf, or in the park watching her children play. Lauren was an avid Cubs fan and would watch or listen to as many games as possible. She met her long term boyfriend Stephin in 2016 after liking a mutual friend’s post on Facebook.
Lauren will be greatly missed by boyfriend, Stephin Bendorf; parents, Darin and Terri Rose; brother, Jarret (Gina) Rose; her three sons, Peyton, Pierce and Lincoln; grandmother, Marge Rose; niece, Mina; nephews, Landyn, Blake, Benny, and Emmitt; and numerous aunts and uncles. Special thanks to Jordan Jacobson who has always been a big support to her and her family.
