Larry Musser, beloved husband and father of three, went to be with the lord on August 28, 2025, at his home at the age of 72. He graduated from East High School in 1970. He spent 17 years as a machine builder for Mattison Machine Works and 13 years at Dial Industries, as well as having owned a couple of businesses.
Larry attended Bethany Methodist Church as a child and eventually married his wife, Dianne Eldridge, there in 1973. He later attended Kishwaukee Baptist Church, where he was baptized. Larry loved football, especially the Chicago Bears. His favorite place to go was the Wisconsin Dells. That was his happy place. He also enjoyed the mountains in Palm Springs, California. He could always make people laugh; he had an amazing sense of humor. He brought an immeasurable joy and light into the lives who knew him.
Larry is survived by his wife, Dianne L. Musser; children, David A. Musser, Joe D. Musser, and Karen D. Musser; sisters, Sharon (Clark) Wetzel and Janet; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Roger Noll and Todd Johnson. Predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Loretta Musser; sisters, Linda Noll and Pam Johnson.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a memory-sharing time from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Honquest Family Funeral Home-Mulford Chapel, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Arlington Memorial Park.
