Larry Alan Mowers, 70, of Rockford, passed away November 8, 2019. He was born on May 22, 1949 in Rockford, IL, where he resided most of his life. Larry graduated from Harlem High School in 1969 and from there went on to become a Rockford Police Officer for 5 years. In 1973, he met his wife, Dee Dee. They were married for 21 years but resided together for another 22 years until Dee Dee preceded him in death by 3 months to the date. In that time they raised their only daughter, Roxanne Mowers Faire (Christopher) who was the light of their lives. Proud Grandfather to Jaden Channing Faire. He loved the Cubs and the Packers, but mostly just spending time with his family.
