Lance E. Kamin

Lance E. Kamin, 74, of Machesney Park, IL, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

He was born on December 18, 1951, in Chicago, IL, the son of Elmer Jr. and Lorraine (Zalent) Kamin. Lance graduated from Maine Township High School East in 1969.

On October 17, 1998, he married Linda Hanson, and together they shared 27 years of love and companionship.

Lance had a deep love for music and especially enjoyed playing guitar in his church’s worship band. He and Linda cherished long drives along country roads, often spending hours together enjoying the journey. Lance also found great joy in serving others and was actively involved with Royal Family Camp.

Surviving Lance are his wife, Linda; children, Vince (Wendy) Kamin, Adam Kamin, Mike (Jess) Real, Chris Real; grandchildren, Jessica, Alex, Eliahs, and Isack Kamin, Brittany (Joey), Alix, Sofie, and Sara Real; great-grandson, Nolan Bodinet, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his sisters, Beth (Gary) Imm, Leslie Medrano, Eileen Richter, and Jill Gregorio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lorraine.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Grove Fellowship, 4210 Countryside Estates Drive, Poplar Grove, IL 61065.
