Kimberly Ann Green

Kimberly Ann Green, 63, of Machesney Park, formerly of Washington, IL, passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2025.  She was born on August 28, 1962, to the late Donald and Nancy (Arnold) McIntyre in Peoria, Illinois. She married Terry Green, they later divorced and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2020.

Kim was also preceded in death by her mother, Nancy McIntyre; father, Donald McIntyre, Sr.; two brothers, Donald McIntyre, Jr. and Clifford McIntyre; aunt, Brenda Dowdell; and son, Mark Green.

She is survived by her sisters, Melody (Anthony) Pompa, Jennifer (Matthew) Hunter, and Angie McIntyre. She also leaves behind her three daughters, Angela Winne (Daniel) of Trenton, Georgia, Jessica Weiland (Andrew) of Loves Park, IL, and Stephanie Green (Jon Merath) of Loves Park, IL; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca Aschenbrenner (Shawn), Aaron Chavez (Ashley), Skylar Weiland (Alyssa), Emmalyn, Wyatt, Wesley and Zoey Weiland.  She loved her grandchildren more than words can express.  They were her entire world and purpose.  She also had several nieces and nephews whom she adored and loved. Also survived by her “found" family, Kathy Crawford, Cheri Crawford, LouAnn Gibson, Sandy, and Elizabeth.  Kimberly was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Kimberly was a life-long Cubs fan just like her late father and brothers. She would watch them to hoot and holler at the TV.  She never missed an opportunity to scream at the top of her lungs, The Go Cubs Go song after a W.  She loved the Dallas Cowboys, too, God love her.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111. The Funeral will take place directly after the Visitation at 1:00 p.m.  Kimberly will be cremated and then laid to rest with her family in the spring at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Morton, IL.
