Kimberly A. Cowen

Kimberly Ann Cowen, 52, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born on September 28, 1968 in Rockford to Gerald and Martha (Caluschi) Wubbena. She attended Honnonegah High School, worked at Dollar Tree, Arby's and owned The Neat Stuff retail store. Kim enjoyed her James Patterson collection, crocheting, creating floral wreaths, elephant figurines and taking care of her dogs, Bella and Shadow. Kim always had a special place for animals in her heart and loved spending time with family. 

Kim is survived by her fiance, Sydney Bruns; children, James and Tiffany Schwager, Ashley and Chris Molsberry, Melanie Cowen and Shadwick Bowser; grandchildren, Cody Grindstaff, Bailey, Jamie and Christopher Molsberry and Payten and James Schwager; siblings, Laura and Dan Chiodini; niece, Elizabeth Duckett; nephew, Brandon Chiodini and parents, Gerald and Judy Wubbena. 

Memorial service will be held at 4:00pm with a visitation from 3:00pm until the service on Friday, July 23, 2021 in Third Presbyterian Church, 1221 Custer Ave., Rockford, IL 61103 Pastor Greg officiating.
