Kathy A. Bainbridge

Kathy A. Bainbridge, 74, of Rockford passed away peacefully May 26, 2025, after a long illness.

Kathy spent the majority of her career as an educator and advocate for adults and children with developmental disabilities where she made a difference in a great many lives. She also had a love of crafting, sewing, cooking and gardening.

Kathy is survived by her children, Craig (Kimberly) Redding, Tonya Redding, Meghan (Justin) Wilkins, Patrick (Kelli) Shoemaker, and Trista (Alex) Jones; her 10 amazing grandchildren; brothers, John (Becky) Lindvall, Scott (Mona) Lindvall, and Steve (Becki) Lindvall; as well as  numerous nieces and nephews.

The family sends a special thanks to her care team at Mercy Health Javon Bea and everyone at Shadley Apartments of Belvidere.
