Katherine "Kay" Elizabeth Ralph

Katherine “Kay” Elizabeth Ralph of Rockford passed away peacefully on November 28, 2022, at the age of 93. Kay was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 21, 1929. She was married to the love of her life, Joseph T. Ralph, for 57 years, until his death in 2011. She retired early from GTE in Genoa and enjoyed traveling the states with her husband and wintering in Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ada Brown; her siblings, JoAnn Gregory, Norma Barnett, Juanita Connors, Mary Gregory and William Brown; her son, Scott Ralph; and her precious great-granddaughter, Adalynn McNeill. She is survived by her children, Jaime Dunn Elliott (Bill), Steven Ralph (Beverly), Joseph Ralph (Julie), Pamela Lavariega, Kelli Leisher (Tim); as well as 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 3.5 great-great-grandchildren. Oh, how she loved the babies! She loved her family. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed working in her yard planting and growing flowers, and thrifting.

Visitation will be held at First Free Rockford, 2223 N. Mulford Road, Rockford on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 9:30 AM -10:30 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM.
