Katherine E. Frawert

Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Katherine E. Frawert, 75, of Rockford passed away October 22, 2009 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born June 3, 1934 in Rockford, daughter of William and Bernice (Johnson) Seiter. Married Paul E. Frawert November 12, 1983. Katherine was a member for many years of Sweet Adeline’s and a member for over 50 years of Court Street Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was involved in the youth group and committees. Survivors include husband Paul; children, Thomas (Janet) Frawley, Colleen (Gerald) Gilmore, and Shawn (Gina) Frawley; grandchildren, Katie Frawley, Carey Gilmore, Randi Frawley, and Jennie Bridgeland; great grandson, Maurice Montgomery; brothers, William (Betty) Seiter, George Seiter, and Richard (Lois) Seiter; sisters, Dolores (Lynn) Davis, Dorothy (Frank) Forman, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents and sister in law, Helen Seiter. The family would like to thank Dr. Roy and the other doctors and nurses of the Adult Intensive Care Unit at Rockford Memorial Hospital for their care. Funeral service will be Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Court Street Methodist Church, 215 N. Court Street, Rockford with Pastor Keith Kelsey-Powell officiating. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church.
