Judith Kay Severson

Judith Kay Severson, 81, of Rockford passed away at ANAM Care at 5:45 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022. Born June 18, 1941 in Rockford, the daughter of Wilsey and Esther (Kottman) Whitcomb. A graduate of West High School class of 1959. Married Jerry L. Severson on August 11, 1962 in Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Employed by Charles V. Weise’s. Judy was a member of the Girl Scouts and enjoyed bowling league and collecting koala bears.

Survivors include husband, Jerry L. Severson; sons, Sean Severson, Kirk Severson; grandchildren, Cassidy Severson, Jack Severson; and sister, Joanne (Whitcomb) Berlin. Predeceased by parents.

Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2022 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family in care of Judy’s son, Kirk Severson.
