Joyce A. Moore

Joyce A. Moore, 74, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 10, 2025. Born October 17, 1950 in Rockford, the daughter of William and Harriet (Shikenjanski) Stewart. She graduated from Auburn High School and worked for Amerock for 32 years, retiring in 2005. Joyce married Lawrence Moore and they were married for 58 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, bowling and playing the slot machines. 

Survived by her husband, Lawrence "Dwayne" Moore; children, Bill (Kim) Moore and Larry (Lori) Moore; grandchildren, Brian (Becca) Moore, Blake (Emily Straube) Moore and Logan Moore; and brother, Dino (Rhonda) Harp. Predeceased by her parents, William Stewart and Harriet Harp; brother, Chuck Stewart; and step-father, Del Harp.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses at OSF St. Anthony Critical Care Unit for the care and compassion they showed for Joyce.

There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
