Joseph E. Darmon

Joseph E. Darmon, 66, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2025. He was born June 11, 1958, the son of John and Audrey Darmon. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Julie from hospice and Pastor Philip Lien at Woodlands Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his daughter, Morgan (Ned) Kirk; grandchildren, Olivia and Caleb Kirk; sisters, Kay (Allen) Jackson, Tamara Torrance and Cheryl Simmons; brother, Bill (Tracey) Darmon; 8 nieces and 4 nephews. Predeceased by his parents and brothers, Dan Stephenson and Harry Darmon.

Memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Woodlands Baptist Church, 5237 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL 61114 with a memorial visitation from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. There will be a reception at the church immediately following the service.
