Jordan T. King

Jordan T. King, 32, of Loves Park, IL was taken from us unexpectedly on September 30, 2024. Jordan was born on November 3, 1991, in Rockford, Illinois. He graduated from Guilford High School in 2009 and was most recently employed at True Value Distribution Center as a Union Steward and Warehouse Lead. Jordan was a proud Celtics and Buccaneers fan but his passion for life extended beyond sports. He expressed himself through tattoos, transforming his body into a canvas of art and self expression. His passions were written on his sleeves.

Jordan was a friend to so many and had created a vast band of friends that connected people from all walks of life. His love of music and festivals grew that friend group larger with every concert. His presence was a blessing, always making things a little brighter. He touched the lives of everyone he met. Those of us lucky enough to have known him and loved him are devastated with a hole in our hearts. He will be forever missed.

Jordan was welcomed home by his grandfather, John (Jack) King; his aunt, Theresa King; and his uncle, Kerry King.

He is survived by his parents, Kelly and Greg LaFontaine; Paul Shell; sister, Sarah King; brothers, Logan LaFontaine and Rick Maness; his loving grandmother, JoAnn King; grandparents, Richard and Kay LaFontaine; and many other special family members and his very dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am on Monday, October 7, 2024, in St Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, IL 61111.  Visitation will be from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Sunday, October 6, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 North Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.  Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago.
