Jimmie L. Sasser

Jimmie L. Sasser was born to Martin Van Buren and Estell Painter on May 2, 1932, passed away peacefully in her home in Poplar Grove, IL surrounded by loved ones on July 9, 2021. 

Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Sasser and her daughter, Grace Hernandez. 

She is survived by her 3 children, Joey Ramos (Sasser) of Carpentersville, IL, Regina Sasser of Poplar Grove, IL and Bill Sasser of East Dundee, IL; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and her two brothers, Donnie Painter of Fulton, Mississippi and Gary Painter of Fulton, Mississippi. Jimmie was loved by many and will be greatly missed. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park. Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. in East Dundee Township Cemetery.
