Jerrie E. Travis, 81, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019. She was born on February 21, 1938 in Rockford to Hayes and Moraine (Swenson) Cook. She was a beautician in her own home. She enjoyed fishing, camping and canning vegetables. Jerrie also enjoyed her little dog, Samantha.

Survivors include her children, Jami (Sonja Kroschel) Steadman, Jeff (Starlena) Fithen and Joni Fithen; grandchildren, Angela Morgan and Amber Fithen; sister, Judy Gilgan; brother, Bob Cook. Predeceased by her parents; son, James Fithen; brother, Tom Cook; sisters, Mary Lou Moore and Verona Johnson.
