Jerome J. Lutz

Jerome J. Lutz, 92, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully April 20, 2021 at home. Born on January 10, 1929 in Nekoosa, WI, the son of Herman and Augusta (Hinca) Lutz. He married Jean Fintel on July 6, 1955. A veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War overseas in Tripoli, Libya, North Africa. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting as well as a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree. He was employed for 33 years at Montgomery Ward & Co. from 1958 to 1991 as an attorney.

Jerome is survived by his five children, Patrick, Robert, William, Elizabeth and James; 8 grandchildren; and brother, Theodore (Vivian) Lutz. Predeceased by parents; wife; and 7 brothers and sisters.

Memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Avenue, Loves Park, IL.
