Jeffrey M. Vestal

Jeffrey Morgan Vestal, 62, of Loves Park passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024. The son of Wallace F. Vestal and Doris (Grossenbacher) Vestal, he was born December 29, 1961 and lived his entire life in Loves Park. He attended Rock Cut School and Harlem High School, then worked at several manufacturing businesses until limited by health concerns. He was the “security system” of his home with his mother and brother, always remembering to check locks, wind clocks, and do general household chores and maintenance. He was an avid TV watcher, a collector of manual typewriters, and a card-carrying gun owner.

He is survived by his mother, Doris, and only brother, Douglas Vestal.

We thank the caregivers at OSF St. Anthony Hospital, Van Matre Encompass Rehabilitation Institute and Alden Debes Hospice Care Facility.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111.
