Jeffrey Scott Hamilton, 63, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in Roscoe, Illinois. He was born to Lorna (nee Kaatz) and Frank Hamilton in Madison, Wisconsin. He grew up there and graduated from Madison East High School in 1978. Jeff married Jean Ullman, the love of his life, in 1981, who he met when working at Octopus Car Wash in Madison, WI. They moved to Rockford and then to Roscoe, Illinois. Jeff enjoyed fishing, politics and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. He worked for Octopus in Rockford, heating and ventilation, and Stepping Stones.
Jeff was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean Hamilton; his mother, Lorna Silbaugh; his step-father, Roger Silbaugh of Madison, WI; his father, Frank Hamilton; and in-laws, Don and Marilyn Ullman.
He is survived by his sisters, Pamela (Hubert Horan) Hamilton of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ava Hamilton of Pines, Minesota, and her children, Trey Hamilton-Garner and Gracie Hamilton-Garner; along with sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Laura and Nick Bonura and children, Anthony Bonura, Nicole and Brandon Schumacher; brother-in-law, Steve and Denise Ullman and children, Kevin and Rebecca Ullman.
