James "Jim" L. Lee

James “Jim” L. Lee, 80, of Rockford passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019. Born November 11, 1938 in Rockford, the son of Charles and Elizabeth (Sadewater) Lee. A veteran of the US Airforce. Married Patricia Woodman on September 5, 1964 in Rockford. Retired from Transam Truck and Trailer Parts. Jim enjoyed golfing and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include wife, Patricia Lee of Rockford; children, Jim Lee, Jr. of Rockford, Kristina Lee of Rockford; grandchildren, John (Marissa Jacobo) Lee, Jasmine (Cordario Scott) Lee, Jordin (Eratzee Dominguez) Lee; great grandchildren, Cayden Scott, Chy Scott, Carter Lee; siblings, Richard (Darlene) Lee, Robert (Debbie) Lee, Donny Lee, Charles (Sharon) Lee, Linda Lee, Tom Lee; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; daughter, Elizabeth Lee; siblings, Harold Lee, Delores Knolde, John Lee, and Jerry Lee.

Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 in Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens, 1354 N. 2nd Street, Rockford with a service at 2:30 p.m. Memorials may be given to the family.
