Jackson W. Foster

Jackson W. Foster, 81, of Rockford passed away February 20, 2025. Born December 30, 1943 the son of Winfred and Anne (Jackson) Foster. He was a graduate of Rockford East High School, class of 1961. Jack attended Northern Illinois University and received a Bachelor's Degree. He enjoyed watching and cheering for the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. 

Survivors include sister, Laura Foster Collins; brothers, James Henderson Foster and Edwin Thomas Foster; niece, Althea Collins Thigpen and nephew, Eric Henderson Foster. Predeceased by his parents, Winfred Wesley Foster and Anne Jackson Foster.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Alden Debes for their compassion and care of Jackson as well as the Janet Wattles Center in Rockford.

There will be no services at this time.

Donations may be made in honor of Jackson to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Rockford.
