Isabell Johnson

Isabell Johnson, 95, of Loves Park, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021. Born February 8, 1925 in Rockford, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Allison) Youngberg. Employed as a bookkeeper by several Rockford businesses retiring in 1983. Isabell enjoyed flea marketing, jewelry making and garage sale-ing.

Survivors include children, Fred (Sharon) Semple, Lynn Koch, Lori (Kerry) Kline, Deana (Doug) Carlson, Larry (Jodi) Johnson; grandchildren, Dawn (John) Woosley, Kari (Joe) Bonavia, Shannon (Ryan) Schwanke, Holli (Jacob) Briley, Krista (James) Cortinez, Kim (Phil) Salton, Kelli Johnson, Andi Carlson, Kourtney (Kevin) Turner, Haley (Brandon) Pace, Amanda Wilkerson; Scott and Erin Kline; and 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents; sister, Margaret Laspese; brother, Arthur “Bud” Youngberg; daughter, Sheryl Semple; grandson, Jake Ryan Carlson; husband, Roger Johnson; and boyfriend, Jim Chappell.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with Pastor Jay Quinn from Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
