Grant attended Blackhawk Technical College and was an automotive technician for several years. Growing up, he enjoyed playing hockey, watching World War II movies, and fishing. His passion for fishing continued into adulthood, and he began sharing his fishing adventures on social media in 2023 as @815riverlyfe. Grant is survived by Kelcey and their daughter, Emersyn; parents, John and Maureen Scime; sister, Allison (Brad) Ringwald; brother, Christopher (Jessica) Scime; nephews, Jaxson Scime, Cal Ringwald, and Weston Scime; niece, Grace Ringwald; grandmothers, Nancy Scime and Judith Drapanes; uncles, Joe (Gayle) Scime, Jeff (Teri) Scime, Jay Scime, and Charles Drapanes; aunts, Denise (Sean) Molloy and Christine (Brian) Fiorito; cousins, Joey (Jessica) Scime, Nicole (Joey) Bushman, Greg (Tracy) Scime, Sophia (Christian) McGee, Julia Scime, Jonah Scime, Brad (Cami) Fiorito, Josh (Julie) Fiorito, Hannah Fiorito (Thomas Stringer), Jake Fiorito, Joey Fiorito, Meaghan (Jon) Swanton, Danielle (Brenden) Wellenstein, and Johnny Molloy; and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Drapanes and Joseph Scime; and his close childhood friend, Aaron Johnson.
