Glenna L. Todhunter
Obituary
Glenna L. Todhunter, 105, of Rockford, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Wesley Willows where she had lived since 2016. She was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on March 11, 1918 to Joseph and Pearl (Walrath) Jonas. Glenna worked through the years at Barber-Colman, in the offices of Swedish American Hospital and the catalog department at J.C. Penney. She loved to go dancing, listening to music, and she and her husband, Paul, played golf during their years living in California.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Boyd) Beach; five grandchildren, Debbie (David) Fread, Danny Beach, Doug Beach, Dean Beach and Darlene (Jeff) Ward; and several great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Paul Todhunter in 1995; grandson, Dale Beach; great-granddaughter, Deana; two brothers and three sisters.
A private family burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL.
