Glenn Ross Obituary

Glenn H. Ross, 93, of Rockford passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019. Born March 7, 1925 in Kewanee, Henry County, IL. He lived most of his life in Rockford. Employed as an engineer for Sundstrand and Ingersoll Milling. Glenn married Jean T. Hockaday on June 18, 1949. He was a devoted Catholic at St. Edward’s and St. Peter’s Parishes. Glenn also participated in Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts, and ushered at church.

Survivors include wife, Jean and they were blessed with 3 sons and 2 daughters, Kathy (Matt) Ripplinger, Larry (Carol) Ross, Sandra (Rick) Everhart, Tom Ross, John (Laura) Ross; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road, Rockford.
