Gerald "Jerry" Lee Greenwood passed away at SwedishAmerican Hospital on July 27, 2022 at the age of 60. Jerry was born in Rockford, IL in 1962. He graduated from Harlem High School in 1980. He worked at Quanex Building Products as a machine operator until his illness. He enjoyed Nascar racing, video games, and fishing.
Jerry is survived by his loving companion, Joan Bennett; mother, Joyce Greenwood; sisters, Donna Greenwood, Jody Greenwood; nieces and nephews, Tashawna Greenwood (Joe Long) Xylie and Koltan, Hannah Simpson, Holly Simpson (Todd Kurtenbach) TJ, Cody (Cameron) Metz and Curt (Jennifer) Busse and family. Jerry is predeceased by his father, James Greenwood and brother, David Greenwood.
