Rockton, Illinois Gary W. Lundquist, 62, of Rockton, Illinois died March 16, 2009. Born June 25, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois son to Carl W. & Madelyn (Spickler) Lundquist. Married to the former Nancy Jacobson November 25, 1967, in Rockford. Employed at Rockford Industrial Welding Supply as a Manager. Also at Centro Metalcut and L.J. Fabricating. Graduated from East High school 1964 and Rock Valley College with an Associate Degree in Music. He directed many church choirs and loved to play his trumpet. Survivors include his wife, Nancy of Rockton; son, Andrew Leigh of Rockton; daughter, Amy Wilkins of Rockton; brother, Steve (Karen) Lundquist of Rockford; sister, Nancy (Jim) Kudlacik of Rockford; grandson, Ethan Wilkins of Rockton. Several nieces and nephews. Proceeded by his parents. Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday March 22, 2009 in First Evangelical Free Church chapel with Rev. Jim Rosene officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until service time. Arrangements were handled by Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street Roscoe.
