Obituary
Gary B. McCauley, 72, of Rockford, passed away February 1, 2023. Born October 13, 1950, son of Bernard and Mary (Boekholt) McCauley. Gary was a member of the Shriners Hospital for Children organization. Gary worked as an Electrician for many years, upon retirement he liked to flip homes.
Survivors include his sons, Don (Valerie Creedon), Steve, and Brian Mc Cauley; sister, Fern (Steve) Hatfield; step-sister, Gail (Craig) Deluhery; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; Don & Mary Fishel, sister, Beverly Olson; brother, Dennis McCauley; and step-sister, Donna Green.
Service will be at 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 9, in Honquest Family Funeral Homes – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.
