Gary William Mann, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4th, 2025, in Rockford, IL, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.  Gary was born July 31st, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was second of two children born to Dorothy and William Mann.  Gary's childhood years were filled with love and laughter in the family home on 35th street in Milwaukee, WI.  Growing up, he attended the local public schools and then graduated from Pulaski High School in 1957.

Gary then went on to marry his childhood sweetheart, Jean.  She was the love of his life and they were married for 63 years. They practiced their Catholic faith while raising their three children in Greendale, Wisconsin.  Growing together, they enjoyed watching their children's involvement with sports, participating in outdoor activities, taking family vacations, and spending time with family and friends. While busy raising his family, Gary also worked for the United States Post Office in Milwaukee for 36+ years.  In retirement, Gary and Jean began a new chapter, when they moved to Leesburg, Florida, where they enjoyed community, numerous social activities and developed many new friendships. Gary and Jean eventually returned to Wisconsin, in 2006, and established themselves in West Bend for the past 19 years.

In his later years, Gary loved spending time with his family, celebrating in his grandchildren's accomplishments, watching Wisconsin sports teams, developing friendships with his neighbors and occasionally, enjoying a competitive game of Scrabble.

Gary is survived by his children, William (Andrea) Mann, Jennifer (Robert) Corriere, Joseph (Julie) Mann; his grandchildren, Cassie, Alex, Ari (Dustin), Mamina, Tikina (Muhammad), Kanha, Mac, Nick, Maggie, and Noah (Zoe); his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Jaxson, Liam, Elijah and Donnie. He is survived by his brothers-in-law, Dave (Lynn) Veley and Joe Veley; sisters-in-law, Harriet Anderson, Mary (James) Slivka, and Barbara Mann.  He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Jean; his parents, Dorothy and William; mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Edward Veley; brother, Charles Mann; brothers-in-law, Richard Veley, John Veley and Michael Veley; sisters-in-law, Donna Veley, Carol Veley, and Judy Veley.
